The Andrews (Shane & Amy) and the Blacks (Dan & Kim) got us started on "24." These guys wouldn't come hang out with us for our weekly BBQ (good ole' Pioneer apt. days) because they wanted to watch their addiction "24" together. So each week we would see the Andrews march up the stairs into the Blacks apt. and they would never come out. Finally, Craig and I asked about their show.....must be good if they don't want to hang out with us. hee hee. The Andrews swore we would get addicted if we watched. So we borrowed the Andrew's Season 1 of 24 on DVD. Oh are we so glad! Peer pressure has us addicted!
We had to watch season 1-3 on DVD to get caught up and we would LITERALLY watch "24" ALL DAY. Shame to admit. We would get up and have breakfast then start our "24" and watch it until 4am the next day (stopping only for meals, bathroom, and Kimani's needs). After each hour we would say, "K, last one!" But we couldn't stop and would go on for more hours. We did this for a few days out of the week. Lucky from me I didn't work.
We found it pretty amusing that our Stake Pres. (BYU 11th Stake) admitted at the pulpit that he was also addicted to "24." He said he would take past episodes on his family vacations and watch it.
Anyways, we're lovin' another season of "24." Craig and I both agree that this has been the BEST season (season 7). You should always expect the unexpected with this show...even though you don't know what the unexpected could possibly be! We're still in shock about Tony! And Jack...could he possibly die? I can't bare the possibility that this might be the last season! Does anyone know? The intensity of this show makes you nauseated at times...you can barely stand it! It's like watching BYU and Utah (football) battle it out to the last seconds. Okay, maybe not! "24" is WAY MORE intense!
P.S. If you don't know Jack....you should get to know Jack!
Oh My gosh...It is so addicting! I am glad that you guys came addicted thanks to us. It was so intense that year. Every year when it starts we think of you guys, and how we were all so addicted to this show...and still are!!!! We have been loving 24 this season, I would agree it is one of the best they have had. Miss you guys wish we were there to watch it with you.
