I have to share...Ki knows who the real easter bunny is. I thought that would make life easier. I can reuse baskets...Tei's too young to understand what's going on there. Well...Easter morning I carried Tei over to see what the "Easter Bunny" brought her and she said, "Oh! The Easter Bunny got me the SAME BASKET!!" What?? How does she remember Easter last year? She was just a couple of months older then her 2nd birthday. I can't win! I'll have to go get them NEW baskets next year.
We had Stake Conference at the tabernacle and it was amazing. The spirit was so strong and the messages were just beautiful. Our ward was assigned to be the choir and I was so touched by the youth participation. Several of our high school youth participated. We do have amazing youth in our ward. We left spiritually nourished with a lot of love and joy in our hearts. We took pictures of the kids in front of the tabernacle.

My studmuffin!
My sweet girl. Thankyou papa and gramma for the u'i dress.
After church the kids wanted to play with "tato" (playdoh).
I have to say...the kids did an awesome job coloring eggs. Of course mom and dad had to get in on the action. We made an egg for Kylee, Kayla, & Kiana too.
Thanks to my honey and Teni...we did have an Easter celebration. BBQ with the Kaufusi ohana! Craig and his ono chicken & Teni and his ono ribs. Mac & Potato salad went on the side....gotta have the rice too! We ate until it hurt and let the kids play.
Tei and Kaiden looking for eggs. Their faces lit up everytime they found one. Ki found the "golden egg" with $7 in it and was nice to share a buck each with Tei & Kaiden. Unfortunately, my camera went "kaput" before I could get pictures of Ki and the kids with their findings.
Tei and Kaiden looking for eggs. We ended this spritiual, fun, and relaxing day kanikapila style with Craig and Teni jamming on their "Uk's" (ukulele).

These pictures are so adorable. Looks like you had a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteThe Easter pix are beautiful! I LOVE that dress, and Ki looks so handsome.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting! I'd never thought about the Easter Basket thing. We always set the old ones out and the Easter bunny comes and fills them. No new ones every year. When I was little, the Easter bunny actually hid my basket too. It would have to be the same one or how would I know it was mine when I found it? I still remember finding the basket once in the oven.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. Wish we could've been there. We did our easter egg hunt at 7 in the morning cuz I had to work. Boo.
