This may not be a huge deal to you, but Hawaii ain't got snakes.....SO HUGE DEAL TO ME!!! I work at the State Hospital, and we received an email warning us that the hospital had our first RATTLE SNAKE sighting of the year. WHAT???? I didn't know Utah had those! And I can find them at work!!!!! Makes me stomach sick! I leave work late at night too! Ughhh! Talk about being scared! That's me!
That IS scary!! I didn't know they had rattlesnakes here until last week when Cori and Jake said they saw one at the bottom of the trail to the Y! YIKES! Good luck--keep an eye out for that rattle . . .

ReplyDeletewhen I went to Hawaii in college the family I traveled with wanted to lots of hiking. I was soooo surprised I never saw anything scary on our hikes, I kept looking for snakes!
I am always on the lookout for snakes no matter where I am. We had seen 2 while living in that Provo house! ugh
Now I live in Arizona...not the best place for scaredie cat me! There's scorpions here too.

Oooh girl there are snakes all over the wild west... gotta be careful... but at work, that's a bit odd to have snakes there. Just don't go walking through any bushes and you should be ok! If you see one just don't make any sudden moves and back away slowly... a snake won't attack unless if feels threatened... sheesh I sound like some wildlife freak... I've just seen a few snakes and am totally scared of them too but I know what to do when I see them or hear them if it's a rattler!
